I purchased last month a new portable mp5 player that looks extremely similar to my old one. I bought it for 850 pesos. There are a few differences between the new and the old.
Software-wise:
*buggy and useless features (calendar, PC camera, and notepad) has been removed
*support for xVid AVI
*simplified and fixed EBOOK menus and bookmarks
Hardware-wise:
*now only one mic hole from three holes in the old one
*memory card reader is slightly on the left from the old center
*green LED when turned on (it was blue)
*from red charging LED to orange LED.
